Hi I'm Steve and I am 45 years old and have been using acai juice since April 11, 2006. Back in November of 2006 I tore my Meniscus (the cartilage pad in the
middle of your knee) in my left leg on a camping trip with boys from
church. I have also had gout since I was 27.
I went in for MRI in February after I could not take the pain any more and my wife made me!
The doctor showed me the photos of the damage and arthritis in my
joint and basically said my choices were "suffer through and use heat
and cold packs and anti-inflammatories such as Advil, Motrin, Tylenol,
etc... or have surgery and be out of commission for 4-6 weeks!
And when I say out of commission, I mean out of commissions... since my job is in sales and I work strictly on commissions!
We decided to try and wait until fall so we could save up and prepare for the lack of income.
In the meantime a friend of mine had ordered some of the acai juice
on a fluke. He said " All these fruits have got to be good for you and
it's only $45.00, heck I spent that on pizza last night!" so he got
some and started using it. In just a few days his wife's chronic
headaches went away! And his energy level went up!
So we got some and started out with 2 oz morning and night. I really
saw no change for the first week, but then I began to notice that I
wasn't as hungry as before and started skipping about 4 meals per week
and reduced the portions on the meals I did eat! Of course I started
losing weight, slowly and naturally. After about 2 &1/2 weeks I
noticed that my knee was not hurting as much and I was not having
trouble getting out of bed or chairs. Walking was getting easier and
then after about 4 weeks I could run a little with no joint pain! I
took it easy so as to give my muscles time to strengthen and now I can
walk about a mile a day and can run around and chase my 4 year old son!
I even jumped on the trampoline some last weekend!
I am happy to report that I am still losing weight and have no knee pain or Gout pain or Arthritis in my hand or shoulder!
My wife is sleeping without meds and her knees are not hurting her
anymore! She had gotten so bad that she could not stand for the song
service at church without sitting to rest her knees! She and our son
and I just came back from a short 30 min. walk! We both had no pain or
leg fatigue afterwards!
We will never stop drinking the acai juice and will continue to tell others who are in pain about it!
